Sharjeel Memon tenders resignation

ISLAMABAD: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has tendered resignation from the provincial cabinet to the President Asif Ali Zardari, Geo News reported. According to the spokesman to the President Farhatullah Babar, Sharjeel Memon, who had been summoned by the PPP Co-Chairman, called on President Asif Ali Zardari late Friday night at the Presidency. Babar said that Memon regretted embarrassment caused to the party by going to London with Zulfiqar Mirza. Sharjeel Memon also tendered resignation from the provincial cabinet, which the President said would be accepted by Sindh Chief Minister, he added.
