Terrorism Police searched a property in east London, while the investigation into the attacks on a subway station in London.
The officers responded to reports of multiple stab wounds to
the subway station Leytonsone Saturday night.
Video footage shows the officers with a taser on the
29-year-old suspect prior to arrest him on charges of attempted murder. The
suspect is being held in a police station in east London.
Commander Richard Walton, who is leading the Met's Counter
Terrorism Command, said: "I would like to thank all those who have thus
far provided information to officials and Hotline fight against terrorism
following this unprovoked attack violent knife last night in Leytonstone tube
station." He urged witnesses to come forward if they have pictures of the
incident on their mobile phones.
Mr. Walton said: "I am aware that there have been a
number of members of the public in the subway station that filmed the suspect
on their mobile phones during and after the attack and push to come forward and
talk to us and share with us the films that have been performed. "
Superintendent Jacqueline SEBIRE praised Waltham Forest
district officers for their quick response.
I take this opportunity to praise not only his courage to
face the man who was holding a knife, but his quick response in providing first
aid to the victim, offering comfort to the many members of the public traveling
through the earth.

At 56, she suffered serious stab wounds and was given first
aid by the agents on the spot. He was later transferred to a hospital in east
London, where he remains in stable condition; his injuries are not believed to
be life threatening.
